Is Red The Best?

m&mSo I’ve been told that some people claim that they can taste a difference in the color of M&Ms.  So I went to church and set up a blind taste test.  Four individuals tasted a total of eight different M&Ms without knowing what color they were and not once did they even guess what color M&M they had just eaten.  Therefore, In my mind I proved that all M&Ms taste the same.  They may be different on the outside but they are all chocolate on the inside.  I will admit that the colors somehow, make them more fun to eat.The Bible tells us that the same thing is true of people.  God made people different colors, different languages, and even different people too.

Romans 10:12&13 says “For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile, the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on Him, for, everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

It doesn’t matter if your white, Hispanic, or black.  It doesn’t matter if your drug addicted, a single mom, or covered in tattoos.  It doesn’t matter if your homeless, an atheist or an alcoholic, it just doesn’t matter, they all have the same heart that needs Jesus.

So as you reach out and come in contact with all kinds of people, let’s remember the M&Ms.  God’s love is for ALL people so let’s share it with ALL people.

Thank you Father for making us each different! AMEN
